Ryanne E. Braun

Ryanne applies her unique background and problem-solving skills to create solutions for every individual client and family. Ryanne understands how stressful the court process can be in any situation and she handles every situation with skill and understanding.

Ryanne completed her undergraduate education at DePaul University, with honors, receiving a double major in political science and public relations/advertising. While at DePaul University, Ryanne had the unique opportunity to work for Draper and Kramer’s in-house counsel for 3 years. At Draper and Kramer, her passion for the law grew and confirmed her decision to go to law school.

Ryanne then completed her Juris Doctorate at DePaul University College of Law with a certificate in Business Law. At DePaul Law she also served as the Women’s Bar Association president and worked on Croak Community Legal Clinic regarding COVID-19 housing/eviction issues. In the same clinic, she helped clients in need execute Power of Attorney documents—she was then reminded of her passion for working with people and she made the decision to pursue a career in family law.

In family law, Ryanne has experience with cases involving child custody, parenting time, and other child related issues and has participated innumerous trials, conferences, and other judicial proceedings, and gained a vast amount of knowledge regarding complex family law financial issues. Ryanne has since completed her Child’s Representative training through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and represents children on a volunteer basis. Ryanne’s background in business both in the workplace and in school created a great foundation for her legal career in family law.

Ryanne joined Katz & Stefani as an associate attorney in 2023.
